Aircraft management companies looking to increase revenue for their owners
Until now, aircraft management companies either flew their owners or flew travelers in charter under Part 135. With Share-A-Flight, management companies can go to the owner and say: "I have located someone who is looking to fly from here to New York next Wednesday when you need to be up there. Would you like to offer her a seat for $2,000?" Since the plane is going anyway, why not defray some of the cost by filling some empty seats? With Share-A-Flight, the option now exists.
